Steven Gerrard’s Glasgow Rangers reportedly want to bring Connor Goldson to Ibrox from Brighton and Hove Albion.

The Ibrox club reportedly had an initial bid of £1.5 million for Goldson turned down by Brighton, and although the Gers returned with a second offer for the 25-year-old centre-back, the Premier League are claimed to have rejected it as well.
The Argus has also reported that the Seagulls are reluctant to lose the 25-year-old, although the centre-back is claimed to have been frustrated by lack of playing time.

Third bid?
Rangers appear to be keen on securing the services of Goldson in the summer transfer window, and one should not be surprised if Steven Gerrard’s side make a third bid.

The former Shrewsbury Town star, who earns £20,000 per week as salary according to Spotrac.com, is a good defender, and if he is not going getting playing at time at Brighton, then it would make sense for him to join Rangers.
Rangers could do with an experienced centre-back who is relatively young and has experience of playing in the Premier League.
