Rangers are reportedly nearing a deal to bring Joe Aribo to Ibrox.

Rangers have already secured five summer signings, but Steven Gerrard isn’t slowing down in his attempts to bolster his squad.
The Gers have landed Steven Davis, Jordan Jones, Jake Hastie, Greg Stewart and Sheyi Ojo, but another player appears to be Ibrox-bound.
The London Evening Standard report that Charlton Athletic midfielder Joe Aribo will meet with boss Lee Bowyer on Friday, and will tell him of his plans to quit the club.
Aribo, 22, played a key role in Charlton’s promotion, hitting nine goals and five assists in League One, but will now move on when his contract expires.
Aribo will seemingly join Rangers after talks with Gerrard, and thanks to cross-border contract rules, they will only have to pay around £250,000 in compensation.
He could be the playmaker Rangers have been looking for, and news of his imminent departure hasn’t gone down well with Charlton fans, who saw defender Patrick Bauer leave for Preston today.

Addicks supporters have taken to Twitter to admit losing Aribo is a blow, even joking that they hope Gerrard slips up in negotiations with the midfielder.
Others feel that Aribo is making a ‘bad choice’ in joining a ‘terrible club’, feeling that Scottish football is not the best move for his development, questioning just why on earth he’s heading to Ibrox.
