Rangers reportedly want to bring Jack Marriott to Ibrox this summer.

Rangers finally landed a new manager on Friday, as they secured the services of Steven Gerrard on a three-year deal in a surprise move.
The Gers had sacked Pedro Caixinha in October and then gone with Graeme Murty as interim boss before his departure last week, with Gerrard set to start his job this summer.
Rangers need to close the gap to Old Firm rivals and Scottish Premiership champions Celtic, and Gerrard needs major funds to close that gap, with some suggesting that chairman Dave King can’t supply the money to do so.
However, Sky Sports report that Rangers hold an interest in signing Peterborough United striker Jack Marriott this summer, and that may just hint that Gerrard has considerable money to spend.

The Express note that Peterborough want around £6million for Marriott, who has been a sensation for the Posh since his move from Luton Town last summer, as he has hit 32 goals in 53 games for the club.
Marriott is also wanted by Championship clubs, but Rangers know the price being discussed for the striker, and that may just suggest that Gerrard will be given funds to improve his squad.
A pacey striker who could provide a major goal threat alongside Alfredo Morelos, 23-year-old Marriott won’t come cheap, and Rangers could see him as a real statement of intent given the asking price on his head.
