Giovanni van Bronckhorst’s Rangers want to bring Pablo Torre to Ibrox, but Real Madrid want him too, according to The Daily Record.

Rangers and Real Madrid interest in Pablo Torre

The Racing Santander midfielder has been recommended to the Rangers scouts as a potential transfer target in the summer of 2022.

Pablo Torre has a release clause of £4 million, but, according to the report, Rangers could be able to sign him for less than that due to Racing needing money.

Rangers scouts will now watch Torre in action, but Spanish and European giants Real Madrid are also keen on the 18-year-old attacking midfielder.

Could Rangers win race?

In our opinion, it is going to be tough for Rangers to win the race to sign Pablo Torre ahead of Real Madrid.

Of course, Rangers are a massive club, but Madrid are arguably the biggest club in the world.

For Madrid, £4 million is really not much money.

And the temptation to play for Madrid could be too much for the teenager to resist.

Pablo Torre has scored three goals and provided five assists in 15 Primera División RFEF game for Racing so far this season.
