Rangers have snapped up defender Lee Hodson as their seventh summer signing.

Rangers confirmed the signing of full back Lee Hodson from MK Dons – and fans appear to be keen on the club’s latest signing.
The Gers had already landed Matt Gilks, Clint Hill, Joey Barton, Jordan Rossiter and Niko Kranjcar, as well as Matt Crooks and Josh Windass, but now manager Mark Warburton has moved to land one of his former players.

Full back Lee Hodson, who worked with Warburton at both Watford and Brentford, has signed a three-year contract at Ibrox, becoming Rangers’ seventh summer signing.
The full back, 24, has been in France at the European Championships, and whilst he didn’t make an appearance for Northern Ireland, he’s capping off a fine summer with a move to Glasgow.

Hodson heads to Ibrox to compete with James Tavernier at right back, whilst also offering cover for Lee Wallace at left back – and with an undisclosed deal agreed, Rangers fans have been reacting on Twitter to their latest new signing.
Rangers supporters have been suggesting that Hodson offers great competition in defence, and his presence may get the best out of fellow right back Tavernier as they compete for a spot in Warburton’s side.

Others pointed out Kilmarnock’s defensive record whilst Hodson was on loan there last season, and are happy with the state of the squad – even if more first-team stars are wanted.
Fans also looked ahead, claiming that they want to see a new striker signed next, with competition needed for Martyn Waghorn and Kenny Miller in the final third.
