Former Glasgow Rangers loanee Dominic Ball has joined Peterborough United on loan.
Peterborough United confirmed the signing of Rotherham United’s Dominic Ball on Tuesday, prompting reactions from Rangers fans on Twitter.
Ball, 21, joined Rotherham from Tottenham Hotspur over the summer, penning a three-year deal with the Millers, who have endured a miserable season so far.

Alan Stubbs and Kenny Jackett have both lost their jobs as Rotherham boss this season, with the Millers bottom of the Championship table on just 13 points from 25 games, 12 points adrift of safety.
Summer signing Ball – capable of playing at centre back or in holding midfield – has played 13 times this season, but he’s now been loaned out to Peterborough United, joining the Posh until the end of the season.

Ball is struggling to settle down, and his move to Rotherham appears to have been a poor one, especially with Rangers no doubt keen to sign him over the summer after his successful loan spell at Ibrox last season.
Ball played 30 games in all competitions under Mark Warburton last season, and whilst many expected him to complete a permanent move to Glasgow, Rangers either missed out on his signature or chose not to sign him.
With Ball on the move again, Rangers fans have taken to Twitter to react to his move, with many suggesting that they would have liked to see him return to Ibrox having impressed last season.
Others felt that Ball’s move down to League One shows that he wasn’t good enough for Rangers, and there are better players out there that should be targeted by Warburton and co.
