Rangers are back in action tonight as they take on Hibernian, travelling to Easter Road in the Scottish Premiership.

The Gers smashed Ross County 5-0 on Saturday afternoon, and will now be looking to follow that up with another win.

Steven Gerrard’s men beat Hibernian 1-0 on Boxing Day, and will be looking for a repeat result tonight as they make the trip to Edinburgh.

Gerrard could make changes tonight, and with that in mind, here is our predicted lineup for the game…

Barring a late injury or pandemic-related issue, we’re expecting Allan McGregor to start in goal ahead of Jon McLaughlin.

James Tavernier and Borna Barisic are the trusted duo at full back back and should start again, most likely either side of Connor Goldson and Filip Helander.

Ryan Jack impressed as a substitute against Ross County, but having only just returned to action, we doubt he will start tonight.

Steven Davis and Glen Kamara look likely to start, with Joe Aribo in line to play too whether that’s as a central midfielder or number 10.

Ryan Kent and Alfredo Morelos are almost nailed-on to start in attack, but there is a real battle for the third spot in Rangers’ front line.

We’ll back Ianis Hagi to start this one, meaning Kemar Roofe and Cedric Itten will have to make do with places on the bench.

They would then be joined by McLaughlin, Leon Balogun, Calvin Bassey, Nathan Patterson, Ryan Jack, Bongani Zungu and Jermain Defoe as substitutes.

Rangers predicted XI: McGregor; Tavernier, Goldson, Helander, Barisic; Davis, Kamara, Aribo; Hagi, Kent, Morelos.
