Glasgow Rangers face Motherwell in the semi-final of the Scottish League Cup, and the Ibrox side will be boosted by one player’s return from suspension.

Rangers take on Motherwell on Sunday in the semi-final of the Scottish League Cup, looking to possibly set up a final with either Hibernian or Celtic.
Pedro Caixinha’s men go into the semi-final off the back of a fantastic win to mark the return of the Scottish Premiership following the end of the international break, as they beat St Johnstone 3-0 away from home, with Carlos Pena bagging a brace and Graham Dorrans adding another to his impressive tally for the campaign.

Unsurprisingly given the dominant victory, HITC Sport cannot see Caixinha wanting to make too many changes, especially with a significant break between the game against the Saints and the Hampden Park showdown.
The one change that we do expect involves Ryan Jack, who will be available for the tie after being suspended for the last game after picking up a red card in the win against Hamilton before the break.

Jason Holt played well on his first league start of the campaign, but Caixinha will surely be keen to reunite Jack with Dorrans in the middle of the park as their partnership continues to impress.
Elsewhere, there are arguably not too many other areas of the squad where they may be question marks over who will play at Hampden unless the Gers suffer any late injury setbacks, so perhaps Jack coming in for Holt may be the only change that Caixinha makes.
Here is the Rangers lineup in full that we expect to take on Motherwell on Sunday…
