Glasgow Rangers return to Scottish Premiership action this week after a hugely impressive cup win at Ibrox.

Steven Gerrard has hardly got anything wrong since arriving at Rangers in the summer, but he goes into this weekend’s game looking to win three games on the bounce for the first time since being appointed.
The Gers will be heavy favourites for their league clash with Livingston, having followed their 5-1 thrashing of St Johnstone last weekend with a 4-0 League Cup win over Ayr at Ibrox.
The star of the show on Wednesday night was Glenn Middleton who was making his full debut for the Gers. Middleton’s potential is one of the worst kept secrets at Rangers, but few would have expected such a brilliant display as he bagged a brace.

Connor Goldson will also return, possibly replacing Joe Worrall, while Lassana Coulibaly and Scott Arfield could come back into the midfield. Graham Dorrans and Ovie Ejaria should drop down to the bench – though the latter could quite easily keep his place.

Alfredo Morelos is in good form so should perhaps lead the line ahead of Kyle Lafferty. With that in mind, here is a look at the predicted lineup in full…
