Glasgow Rangers will be hoping to secure another win after their dominant display at Ibrox at the weekend.

Steven Gerrard may well be tempted to make a number of changes for Rangers’ Scottish Premiership clash with Aberdeen on Wednesday despite the Gers securing their third win in a row at the weekend.
The Light Blues stormed past St Mirren, but the Dons are likely to hand Gerrard’s men a much tougher test, with just one place and two points separating the two sides in the table.
Rangers are hoping to receive a major injury boost ahead of the game, with Sky Sports reporting that Gerrard plans to make a very late decision on whether Connor Goldson can feature at Pittodrie.
Given his importance to the side, it should probably not feel like a huge surprise if he does manage to pass the late fitness test and comes into the defence, perhaps alongside Joe Worrall. Nikola Katic has been impressive, but had little game-time before this run in the team, so may appreciate the rest ahead of the weekend.

Meanwhile, Steven Davis may also drop down to the bench with Ryan Jack coming into the midfield alongside Ross McCrorie and Scott Arfield.
And up front, Daniel Candeias comes in for Jermain Defoe. Candeias’ defensive contribution could make a big difference against Aberdeen, so perhaps the Portuguese will get the nod ahead of the January signing.

With that in mind, here is a look at the predicted lineup in full…
