Rangers take on Ayr United at Ibrox on Wednesday evening.

Rangers are back in action on Wednesday night as they host Ayr United at Ibrox in the quarter-finals of the Scottish League Cup.
Steven Gerrard continues to impress as Rangers manager, and has hit back from his first and only defeat as Gers boss at Celtic by thrashing Dundee and St Johnstone in the league as well as drawing 2-2 at Villarreal in the Europa League.
The attention now turns to the Scottish League Cup on Wednesday, as Ayr United make the trip to Ibrox looking to perform a giant killing against Gerrard’s in-form Gers.
Gerrard will have selection decisions to make, and the chances are that he massively rotates his side in order to give opportunities to fringe players and those returning from injuries.
Wes Foderingham is almost certain to start in goal in place of Allan McGregor, having lost his place to the Scot following his arrival this summer.
Jon Flanagan and Lee Wallace may come in as the full backs, with Nikola Katic keeping his place at centre back alongside returning Nottingham Forest loanee Joe Worrall.

Ross McCrorie should feature in holding midfield after a strong performance on Sunday, with Graham Dorrans and Liverpool loanee Ovie Ejaria surely set to start in central midfield.
After featuring in an Under-23 game on Monday, Eros Grezda and Umar Sadiq could be in line for their first Ibrox starts, with youngster Glenn Middleton deserving of a start on the left.
Alfredo Morelos will be needed with Kyle Lafferty cup-tied, whilst the likes of McGregor, Connor Goldson, James Tavernier, Andy Halliday, Scott Arfield and Ryan Kent are surely in contention for the bench.
