Rangers kick off their Champions League qualifying campaign Tuesday night when they face Swedish side Malmo away from home – but before a ball is kicked, the Light Blues will discover who they will face should they reach the next round.

After winning the Scottish Premiership last season, the Gers are in the Champions pathway but, unlike the third qualifying round, Rangers won’t be among the seeded teams in tomorrow’s draw.
Progression to the playoff would leave Rangers just 180 minutes away from the groups and a massive financial windfall.
However, it won’t be an easy task if Gerrard’s side do get past Malmo with the likes of Salzburg, Olympiacos, Slavia Prague and Legia Warsaw all lying in wait.
The draw takes place at 11am tomorrow and will be streamed live on UEFA’s website – and Rangers fans will be sure to be hoping the Gers can make it through.
The playoff will take place on August 17/18 & August 24/25 – but first Rangers have to make it through and secure qualification against Malmo.
Here are Rangers potential Champions League playoff opponents ahead of tomorrow’s draw in Nyon:
FC Salzburg (AUT)
GNK Dinamo (CRO) / Legia Warssaw (POL)
Ferencváros TC (HUN) / SK Slavia Prague (CZE)
Olympiacos FC (GRE) / PFC Ludogorets 1945 (BUL)
