Rangers are monitoring Cardiff City defender Ciaron Brown, according to a report, with the Light Blues said to be keen on a move for the 23-year-old when his deal ends in the summer.

According to GiveMeSport, Brown has impressed the Rangers hierarchy after being recalled from his loan spell with Livingston at the start of the year.
The Northern Irish international started 11 of the Welsh side’s final 12 games last season after an impressive stint at the Tony Macaroni alongside Gers keeper Robby McCrorie.
With his contract up in the summer and Rangers able to pick up him for next-to-nothing, Ross Wilson and his scouting team are apparently keeping tabs on Brown.
The defender can play at left-back or centre-back and after speculation over Borna Barisic’s long-term Ibrox future, it wouldn’t be a surprise if Rangers were looking for a replacement.
Cardiff boss Mick McCarthy said last month he was keen to keep brown in South Wales after he was linked with a move to Middlesborough, confirming that there is a new contract offer on the table for Brown.
“His agent is doing a good job isn’t he?!” McCarthy said [Wales Online].
“I did say, and I’m not in the habit of messing around or spreading bull, Middlesbrough offered and it’s not enough.
“If they offer the amount the club wants, then they might decide to sell him.
“If not then he will stay until next year and he will leave on a free transfer if he does not sign a new contract, which he has been offered.
“There has been one other club interested in him, to my knowledge, because I’ve spoken to that club.”

While Brown is out of contract in the summer, Rangers could look to do a similar deal to the ones that saw Scott Wright and Jack Simpson move to Ibrox early after agreeing pre-contracts.
