Rangers left-back and reported Tottenham Hotspur target Borna Barisic does not want to leave Ibrox this summer, according to The Daily Record.

Barisic has decided to stay at Rangers and fight for the Scottish Premiership title this season, according to the report.

AC Milan and AS Roma are interested in the left-back, according to the report, while 90min claimed in March that Tottenham in the Premier League want the Croatia international as a potential replacement for Danny Rose.

The report added that Spurs will make a move for the 27-year-old, who is valued at £22 million.

However, The Daily Record has now claimed that Barisic is not interested in leaving Rangers this summer and will stay at the club.

Blow for Tottenham Hotspur?

Barisic is a very good and established left-back who is the first choice in the position in the current Rangers team.

The 27-year-old reportedly deciding to stay at Rangers will come as a blow for Spurs, as they will now have to look elsewhere for a left-back.

Perhaps Spurs head coach Jose Mourinho will give Rose another chance, with the England international back at the club after a relatively successful loan spell at Newcastle United during the second half of the past season.
