The Rangers goalkeeper’s opportunities have been limited since Steven Gerrard arrived at Ibrox.

The Rangers goalkeeper Wes Foderingham has signed up to a new agency.

StormSportsX, who appear to have several of Foderingham’s Rangers teammates on their books, announced on Friday that the goalkeeper is now on board.

Foderingham was previously represented by World In Motion (Transfermarkt).

And the timing of his switch is curious to say the least, considering the 28-year-old’s Rangers contract expires at the end of this season.

Already this weekend, Foderingham has been linked with a move away from Ibrox, with DC United interested in a free transfer deal (Daily Mail).

The Englishman can talk to clubs about a pre-contract agreement from the New Year.

He spent three seasons as Rangers’ first-choice goalkeeper before Allan McGregor ousted him upon his arrival at Ibrox in summer 2018.

McGregor’s deal is also up in June 2020, but is likely to get a renewal on current form.
