Glasgow Rangers will take on Celtic in the semi-finals of the Scottish League Cup later this month.

Rangers attacking midfielder Harry Forrester has suggested to The Glasgow Evening Times that his side can win against Celtic later this month.
Mark Warburton’s Rangers will take on Old Firm rivals Celtic in the semi-finals of the Scottish League Cup at Hampden Park in Glasgow on Sunday, October 23.
The Gers will be looking to give a better account of themselves against the Bhoys than they did earlier this season.
Rangers suffered an embarrassing 5-1 defeat to Celtic away from home at Celtic Park in the Scottish Premiership last month.
Forrester, who is 25 years of age, has suggested that the Gers can win against Brendan Rodgers’s side this month and progress to the final of the Scottish League Cup.

“Of course the last game [against Celtic] wasn’t great on our part,” Forrester told The Glasgow Evening Times. “We go back to Hampden and we have had a good time there.”
“At a football club like Rangers you have to learn fast,” added the 25-year-old. “That (the Celtic game) wasn’t a nice way to learn and we let everyone down that day I believe.
“It is a chance for us to go back out there and play better than we did a couple of weeks ago. It will be a good test for us but one I believe we will relish.”

Celtic are going strong at the moment and are favourites to win the Scottish Premiership title this season.
The Glasgow giants are currently at the top of the league table with 19 points from seven matches, four points clear of second-placed Aberdeen with a game in hand.
Rangers, who won automatic promotion from the Scottish Championship at the end of last season, are fifth in the league table at the moment with 12 points from eight games.
