Rangers have considered appointing Peter Bosz but it looks like they prefer Michael Beale in a strange sense of deja vu for the Dutchman.
The Gers decided to part ways with boss Giovanni van Bronckhorst on Monday morning after just over a year in charge.
Van Bronckhorst may have guided Rangers to the Europa League final last season but this term has been a disaster.
Out of the Champions League in humiliating fashion and already well behind Celtic, Rangers need to find a manager who can get them moving forward again.

Rangers have considered Peter Bosz
One name almost immediately linked with a move to Ibrox was Peter Bosz.
The Scottish Daily Express reported that Rangers had Bosz high up on their list of targets to replace Van Bronckhorst.
Bosz was described as being strongly in the running to become Rangers manager within hours of Monday’s decision.
This seemed like a potentially controversial move given that Bosz and Van Bronckhorst have been close for many years thanks to their Feyenoord history.
Bosz was interviewed for the Wolves job last month having been sacked by Lyon.
However, reports in France suggested that Wolves weren’t entirely convinced by Bosz.
Wolves moved on to target Michael Beale but the Queens Park Rangers boss rejected the chance to take over at Molineux.
Remarkably, it seems to be happening again.
Rangers may be considering Bosz but The Scottish Sun claim that Beale is now Rangers’ top choice for the job after sacking Van Bronckhorst.
That stance is somewhat understandable given that Beale used to be Rangers assistant boss under Steven Gerrard and has familiarity with some of the Ibrox squad.
Yet Bosz will be left wondering just how he keeps being in contention for jobs only for the clubs to prefer the relatively inexperienced Beale.
Nothing is decided for Rangers just yet but they are pushing to land Beale whilst potentially leaving Bosz without a club again.
