Rangers want Peter Bosz and the Dutch coach is high on their wish list as they seek to replace Giovanni van Bronckhorst in the Ibrox dugout.
The Gers have today decided to sack manager Giovanni van Bronckhorst after just over a year in charge.
Van Bronckhorst took Rangers to the Europa League final last season but now finds himself out of a job.
Rangers sit nine points behind Celtic already and will now be looking for a new manager to come in and close that gap.

Rangers want Peter Bosz
The Gers may have just sacked one Dutch manager but could go for another.
The Scottish Daily Express report that Rangers are interested in appointing Peter Bosz as their new manager.
It’s stated that Bosz features strongly in Rangers’ hunt for a new manager and is high on the priority list.
The 58-year-old is out of work having been sacked by Lyon last month.
Bosz has bounced around clubs in recent years, ever since an outstanding 2016-17 season with Ajax.
The Dutchman lasted just a few months with Borussia Dortmund in 2017 before heading to Germany with Bayer Leverkusen a year later.
Bosz won 54% of his games but was still sacked in March 2021 before heading to France with Lyon.
The key factor with Bosz is his desire to play attacking football.
Across those stints with Ajax, Dortmund, Leverkusen and Lyon, Bosz’s teams racked up 489 goals whilst conceding 300.
Bosz vowed to play ‘beautiful attacking football’ at Lyon and that would surely excite Rangers fans.
Bosz interviewed for the Wolves job last month but claims in France suggested that the Premier League club weren’t completely convinced.
That means Rangers may now have a window to go and secure Bosz, who has been a long-term friend of Van Bronckhorst.
