Greg Docherty of Ibrox side Glasgow Rangers was reportedly caught up in an odd incident on Saturday.

There’s never a dull moment in the life of Rangers midfielder Greg Docherty down South.
The 22-year-old, a £650,000 signing by Rangers last January [The Record], has been a revelation for loan side Shrewsbury Town this season.
The Gers-daft midfielder played a big role in helping Town reach the fourth round of the FA Cup, even scoring against Premier League side Wolves, who eliminated them during a replay.
All in all, Docherty has made plenty of headlines this season, but he has found himself at the centre of a slightly more unsavoury incident this weekend.
The Scot was substituted in yesterday’s 1-1 draw at Bristol Rovers and was swiftly sent to hospital after complaining of blurred vision, according to The Shropshire Star.
But Town manager Sam Ricketts claimed that the Salop-marked vehicle carrying him away from the Memorial Stadium was hit with objects.
“Doch had some bleeding in his eye, he wanted to carry on. But as it went on he started to struggle with vision. Doch’s left early to go to the eye hospital,” he told The Shropshire Star.
“I’m a bit disappointed with how the vehicle was treated taking him with objects thrown when they’re trying to leave the ground and get to hospital. That’s disappointing. Hopefully he’ll be OK.”
Docherty has netted eight goals and set up nine in all competitions this season. It’s very likely that he’ll be returning to boyhood club Rangers this summer and he’ll hope to impress Ibrox boss Steven Gerrard when he does.
