Rangers appear to be making moves in the transfer market with ‘advanced discussions’ now underway for Standard Liege midfielder Nicolas Raskin.
That’s according to reporter Sacha Tavolieri, one of the best sources for Belgian transfer news.
Tavolieri reports that ‘things are moving’ for Raskin and there is ‘concrete interest’ from Rangers.
Tavolieri adds that ‘advanced discussions’ are underway for Raskin to make a move to Ibrox this month.
Rangers appear to be closing in on Norwich City playmaker Todd Cantwell with a deal now thought to be imminent.
Add in that Rangers are also moving for Swansea City talent Morgan Whittaker and the Gers could soon have three new faces.

Who is Rangers target Nicolas Raskin?
Raskin, 21, was born in Liege and did start his career with Standard before moving on to Anderlecht and Gent.
Raskin returned to Standard in 2019 and has settled down there in recent years.
The midfielder has now turned out 96 times for Standard, bagging five goals and 13 assists.
Four of those assists have come this season despite Raskin running into some trouble at Standard.
Raskin has been banished from the first-team squad and sent to the reserves having failed to agree a new contract.
Standard boss Ronny Deila – formerly of Celtic – hasn’t picked Raskin in Standard’s last three league games now.
Raskin is out of contract at the end of the season and Rangers could feasibly sign him to a pre-contract agreement to leverage a lower price.
Hailed as ‘monstrous’ by Deila, Raskin is able to dictate play from deep or get on the front foot and support the attack.
Rangers need new energy in midfield with question marks over Ryan Jack, Scott Arfield and Steven Davis.
A deal for Raskin could be a real bargain and allow Beale to build around a new midfield maestro for years to come.
