Graeme Murty’s Glasgow Rangers have brought Russell Martin and Jason Cummings to Ibrox, and the former is looking forward to playing against Old Firm rivals and Brendan Rodgers’s side Celtic.

Graeme Murty’s Rangers will take on Old Firm rivals Celtic at Ibrox in the Scottish Premiership on March 10, 2018.
Martin wants to play for the Gers against Brendan Rodgers’s side, having joined the Glasgow giants from Norwich City in the January transfer window.
Rangers have signed the 32-year-old defender on loan from Norwich in the Championship in England for the rest of the season.
“The Old Firm is one I am looking forward to, you grow up watching those games, regardless of where you are from, it is of huge interest to everyone,” Martin told Rangers’ official website. “Hopefully I will get myself in the team by then and be playing and can look forward to it.”

Rangers are back in action on Sunday afternoon when they take on Highland League club Fraserburgh away from home at Bellslea Park in the fourth round of the FA Cup.
Ahead of the match, Fraserburgh captain Ryan Christie has spoken of his excitement at shaking hands with former Liverpool defender Danny Wilson, who is likely to be the skipper for the Gers for the game.
Christie told The Scottish Sun: “I am a Liverpool fan and it looks like it will be Danny Wilson who will be Rangers’ captain on the day.
“I’d been having a think about that and it would be a bit strange if that’s the case as I remember being happy when he moved to Anfield. I am a Liverpool man through and through.”

Meanwhile, Jason Cummings’s father has expressed his delight on social networking site Twitter at the 22-year-old striker’s move to Rangers.
The Scotland international has joined Graeme Murty’s side on loan from Nottingham Forest in the Championship in England on loan for the rest of the season, leading David Cummings to express his delight at the switch.
