Rangers newbies Jamie Murphy and Sean Goss comment on Twitter after mid-season tour

Glasgow Rangers’ January signings both took to Twitter after their mid-season tour away from Ibrox came to an end.

Jamie Murphy and Sean Goss were amongst the Rangers players to take to social media after the Gers’ mid-season tour of Florida came to an end with the Scottish Premiership side pulling off a stunning win over Corinthians.

The Light Blues won their first game in America 1-0 thanks to a Josh Windass goal and would have been hoping to follow that result up with another victory when they faced the Brazilian champions.

The game did not start well for the Gers however, as their opponents took a 2-0 lead into the break. But the second-half saw Rangers turn the contest on its head, as they scored four times to make it two wins from two for the trip.

The trip would have probably done wonders for Graeme Murty’s confidence regarding his squad – especially as the tour saw a number of players either make their returns after loan spells away from Ibrox or link up with the team for the very first time after completing moves to Rangers.

The two players joining up with the Gers for the first time following January arrivals were Murphy and Goss, who signed on loan from Brighton and Queens Park Rangers respectively.

And after the tour came to an end, both Goss and Murphy took to social media to comment on the trip, and they were amongst the Rangers players to tweet about their excitement ahead of the season’s resumption.
