Rangers completed a deal to bring defender Russell Martin to Ibrox on Tuesday.

Rangers defender Russell Martin has told The Scottish Sun that he can’t wait to play at Ibrox, claiming it holds ‘the best atmosphere’ he has ever played in.
The Gers have been busy this month, and quickly tied up loan deals for Sean Goss, Jamie Murphy and Jason Cummings, as well as signing loanee Declan John permanently from Cardiff City.
Manager Graeme Murty and director of football Mark Allen continue to work hard on more incomings, and they tied up another deal on Tuesday evening.

Rangers swooped to land Norwich City defender Russell Martin on loan until the end of the season, securing the veteran centre back after his frustrating season to date.
The 32-year-old had been a key player for Norwich following his 2009 move from Peterborough United, racking up more than 300 appearances for the Canaries during his time at Carrow Road.
However, with just four league starts this season, Martin has endured a disappointing campaign, and is now looking to play regularly with Rangers for the rest of the season, potentially earning a permanent deal.

Now, Martin has told The Scottish Sun that he can’t wait to play at Ibrox, having played there for Scotland against Georgia in a 1-0 win back in 2014.
Martin called Ibrox ‘one of the best atmospheres’ he has ever played in, and is now looking forward to playing there as a Rangers player.
“I was in the team at Ibrox for Scotland and it was one of the best atmospheres I played in,” said Martin. “I’m really looking forward to pulling on the blue shirt now and playing there again,” he added.
