Ibrox side Glasgow Rangers sealed a loan deal to sign Declan John.

Speaking on Rangers’ official YouTube channel, Declan John has told fans of the Ibrox club what they can expect from him this season.
The 22-year-old sealed a season-long loan to the Gers from Cardiff City shortly before the transfer window closed at the end of last month.
Naturally a left-back, the Wales international has serious competition in the form of Lee Wallace and it remains to be seen how much he plays due to the veteran’s presence.

In any case, John, who has also had loans with Chesterfield and Barnsley, says he is an attacking full back, when asked in a press conference what Rangers fans can expect.
“I’m quite good going forward. I’m sort of an attacking full back,” he said.
“I can play on the left side as well so I like to get forward and put balls in the box.”

Myles Beerman was Wallace’s under-study during the back end of last season, and the Malta international did a decent enough job it has to be said.
But Caixinha obviously was not overly convinced by the 18-year-old, otherwise he wouldn’t have recruited an additional player in the form of John.
