Glasgow Rangers want to sign Michy Batshuayi but their hopes are over ambitious.
Michy Batshuayi
Rangers are one of the interested teams in Chelsea striker Michy Batshuayi, The Mirror reports.
Landing Batshuayi would be a huge coup for Rangers, but really it is an over ambitious plan.
Batshuayi is unlikely to want to move to Scotland, with offers from Ligue 1 champions Monaco on the table too.
But perhaps the biggest obstacle to Rangers would be trying to find a way to pay his £100,000 per week wages.

Quite simply Rangers could not afford it, and might even struggle to pay 10 per cent of the sum.
This leaves them reliant on Chelsea’s charity if they are to sign the striker, hoping the Blues would agree to pay all of or the high majority of his weekly wages.
Batshuayi would score goals for fun in the Scottish Premiership and this could be good for his World Cup ambitions with Belgium, and Rangers also have Europa League football on offer too.
The footballing challenge of helping Rangers try to overcome all conquering Celtic could appeal to him, but unless Chelsea cover his wages then a deal won’t happen.
