Glasgow Rangers are reportedly interested in bringing Joe Aribo to Ibrox this summer.

Rangers have wasted little time getting stuck into the summer transfer window, with Steven Gerrard already overseeing a handful of signings that he hopes will take them closer to the Scottish Premiership title next season.
And while the Ibrox faithful will be hoping to see some money spent before the new campaign kicks off, it appears that he has his eye on one or two more free transfers, with the Guardian recently reporting that the Gers are one of the sides that want to sign Joe Aribo.
Aribo is out of contract at Charlton Athletic, and caught the eye by scoring 10 goals as Lee Bowyer’s men went on to secure promotion to the Championship via the League One play-off final.
The youngster would be an outstanding signing, but he is not the only Addicks player that Rangers should have their eye on given their shortage of options at centre-back.

Patrick Bauer was Charlton’s hero as he scored the stoppage-time winner that broke Sunderland’s hearts at Wembley. And like Aribo, he is out of contract this summer, according to the Evening Express.
The towering defender may be a fantastic addition to Gerrard’s ranks as he looks to provide competition for the likes of Connor Goldson and Nikola Katic, especially with reported target Timm Klose signing a new contract with Norwich City (via Eastern Daily Press).
Rangers fans may be reluctant to see too many more free transfers this summer. But Bauer arguably has the potential to be an inspired addition that leaves Gerrard with his budget in tact as he switches his focus to the club’s potential marquee additions.
