Steven Gerrard needs to recall Glenn Middleton.

Rangers’ limitations have been exposed in recent weeks with Steven Gerrard’s side struggling to break down opposition.
Fans at Ibrox have been left disappointed by the team failing to score in the cup defeat to Aberdeen, and scraping a home draw with Kilmarnock at the weekend.
Rangers striker Alfredo Morelos has been starved of service and the team need their creative players.
It’s time for the Gers to recall breakout star Glenn Middleton, who has barely featured in 2019.
Middleton starred in pre-season and had an excellent first half of the campaign.
The teenager scored five goals and provided five assists in all competitions, in his debut season with the first team.
2019 has been a different story, and Middleton has made only two appearances as a substitute, the last coming back in early February.

It made sense for Middleton to have a bit of a rest. He is only 19, and this is his first full season.
Now it’s clearly time for Rangers to recall him to the first team squad.
The team are low on invention and struggling in front of goal. Middleton could be the difference maker Rangers need against Celtic.
Now rested up, Rangers must make him a prominent part of the squad between now and the end of the season.
