Leeds United are looking to sign Wes Foderingham from Rangers, according to. Steven Gerrard must use this interest to launch an enquiry of his own.

Rangers are looking for a third striker to back up Alfredo Morelos and Kyle Lafferty. Loanee Umar Sadiq is not cutting it.

The Gers should target Leeds wonderkid Ryan Edmondson, who has already featured for the first team.

Edmondson is in a bigger queue for the first team at Leeds than he would be at Rangers, where he would only have two strikers in front of him.

At Leeds he is still barely playing, despite Patrick Bamford having been out injured for several months.

The 17-year-old is a bright talent, stand tall physically, and has scored for fun at youth level for Leeds since joining from York City in January.

Rangers are strongly linked with signing Dominic Solanke on loan, but Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp is determined to keep the young striker, Talksport report.

This leaves Rangers needing to find alternatives, and Edmondson could be an ideal solution as their third striker. It could benefit Leeds for his development too.

If Rangers do elect to sell or loan Foderingham to Leeds, it would be smart to get a bright talent in exchange.
