Rangers should look at Herbie Kane.

Glasgow Rangers’ need for a midfielder should lead them to take another look at Liverpool youngster Herbie Kane.
The 20-year-old is starring on loan for Doncaster Rovers in his first ever loan spell and is out of contract next summer.
Kane has emerged as one of the best midfielders in League One, where Greg Docherty is also starring, and Rangers boss Steven Gerrard is a big fan.
Doncaster coach Grant McCann revealed this summer that he discussed Kane with the Rangers boss.
McCann told The Star: “Luckily enough I’ve got very good connections at Liverpool.
“I spoke to Michael Beale and he is with Steven Gerrard at Rangers now and they love him.
“They’d take him tomorrow, that’s how good a player he is.”

There is suddenly a potential window for Rangers to land the top talent.
Kane’s contract expires next summer and he is yet to sign a new deal.
McCann even told the Doncaster Free Press that Kane’s loan being extended would depend on the midfielder signing a new contract.
So far, the midfielder is yet to do so despite Liverpool’s desire for him to.
If Kane becomes a free agent in the summer, based on McCann’s comments from August, Rangers will be at the front of the queue for his signature.
