Celtic are keen on signing Tottenham midfielder Josh Onomah according to The Sun, but rivals Rangers should strongly consider entering the race.
Onomah is in demand after a starring role at the FIFA Under-20 World Cup with England, and may need to secure a loan move in order to play regular football.
Celtic’s interest is understandable, but Brendan Rodgers’ side have several midfield options already and Onomah would certainly not be a guaranteed starter.
Rangers might be able to offer Onomah a better shot, with their team in transition, all spots in Pedro Caixinha’s XI are up for grabs.
They can still offer Europa League football and Onomah could be a real asset to Rangers in the competition.
Rangers have had success dealing with Tottenham in the past. Dominic Ball had a successful loan spell in 2015/16, and Nathan Oduwa impressed early on during his spell too.

The Light Blues held a friendly with Spurs a year ago too, and while former boss Mark Warburton played a role in that, connections will go beyond his involvement.
Rangers have been an attractive destination for young players from English Premier League sides over the past two seasons, including most recently Emerson Hyndman and Jon Toral.
It could be a mistake not to even attempt to land Onomah ahead of Celtic.
