Odds continue to shorten on Rangers making a spectacular move to sign Robin van Persie.
Earlier this month we reported how Rangers were listed at 10/1 with SkyBet to sign the Dutchman, behind West Ham, Everton, Middlesbrough and Stoke City.
By the start of this week the odds had drifted out on Rangers to 16/1, but over the past 24 hours the Light Blues have been cut to just 3/1.

This places Rangers as the second favourites to sign the striker, behind only Stoke City, who are priced at 7/4.
Van Persie left Manchester United last summer to join Turkish side Fenerbahce, but he is far from settled in Turkey.
The striker was not involved in Fenerbahce’s Champions League qualifier last night, hinting he could be on the way out, but a move to Rangers would be a major surprise.
A deal could change the landscape of the Scottish title race, but the odds at present appear more peculiar than indicative of any strong interest from the Gers.
