Rangers want between €17-20million (£14.6-17.2million) to sell striker Alfredo Morelos, according to a Portuguese report, with Porto only willing to spend €12million (£10.3million) despite being willing to “bet all the chips” on signing Morelos.
A Bola claim that the Rangers star has already agreed personal terms with Porto over a move this summer, with the chance to link up with two of his international teammates apparently a big draw for the Colombian.
The report also goes on to claim that Morelos’ previous club stand to pocket 10% of any fee the Gers get for Morelos, four years after he left HJK Helsinki to join the Light Blues.
The 25-year-old striker is currently at Copa America with Colombia as they look to win South America’s equivalent of the Euros for the first time snce 2001.
Morelos will go with Rangers fans’ best wishes
With Morelos having had an incredible four years at Ibrox that have culminated in him lifting the Scottish Premiership, there’s a sense of inevitability around a summer transfer this year.

While some will argue the Gers could (and should) get more for Morelos, if they can walk away with almost £20million for the Colombian, it represents an excellent bit of business.
El bufalo will leave with the best wishes of Rangers fans if he does move on this summer – although it seems that he might not be heading to Porto after all.
