Rangers midfielder Ben Williamson has signed a new contract at Ibrox before heading out on loan with Premiership side Livingston.
The Scotland under-21 international confirmed the move on his official Twitter account, days after being part of group who travelled to Tranmere at the weekend.
Williamson spent part of last season on loan with Championship side Arbroath, picking up their Young Player of the Year award and earning rave reviews in the process.
That also saw him win his first call-up to the Scotland under-21 side for the end-of-season fixtures against Northern Ireland.
Williamson is the latest in a host of young Rangers players to join Livi with the likes of Robby McCrorie, Ryan Hardie, Liam Kelly and Jordan Thompson spending time in West Lothian.
The two sides meet on the opening day of the Premiership season with Livingston heading to Ibrox on July 31st for Flag Day.
Williamson will miss out on that game but could make his debut for Livi this Saturday when they face League One Alloa in the Premier Sports Cup.
After signing a new deal at Ibrox, Williamson is now committed to Ibrox until the summer of 2023, with his existing deal due to have ended next summer.
