The Glasgow Rangers midfielder picked up the caution in the second-half of their draw with Ross County.
Rangers midfielder Jason Holt has admitted to the club’s official website that he is not sure if there was any contact in the incident that led to him being booked for diving during the clash with Ross County.
The Gers went into the international break off the back of a hugely frustrating draw after Clint Hill’s brilliant header was cancelled out by Andrew Davies’ equaliser.

And the frustration was compounded during the second-half when Holt’s tumble in the box saw the Light Blues man booked for simulation rather than the away side given a penalty.
And following the game, the 23-year-old conceded that he could not remember whether there was enough contact for the decision to be deemed a harsh one.

“First, I think I anticipated the contact,” he told the club’s official website.
“Whether it came or not, I can’t really remember but I just got on with the game.”

While it did appear that there was some contact between Holt and Ross County defender, the referee may point to the fact that the Rangers man already appeared to be heading for the ground before the touch came as justification for his decision.
Unfortunately for the Gers, they must now dwell on missing out on the opportunity to go into the break in second place in the Scottish Premiership after a disappointing performance.
