Rangers midfielder Jason Holt is now playing regularly for the Ibrox outfit, but there was a time when he was out of the Gers’ team.

Holt, who has been on the books of Rangers since the summer of 2015, has started just six matches and made only two substitute appearances in the Scottish Premiership so far this season, according to stats on Skysports.com.
The former Scotland Under-21 international, though, has started every game for the Gers since their win against against St Johnstone on October 13, as reported on the club’s official website.
Holt, who is probably still not guaranteed a place in the Gers’ starting lineup and has yet to maintain his level, has admitted that it was frustrating for him when he was not playing.

“It was just good to get back in the team and playing games of football,” Holt told Rangers’ official website. “When you’re training all week and you’re not involved on a Saturday, it’s frustrating.
“As a player, you want to be playing every week so to be back involved and being able to help the boys has been pleasing.
“I think when you’re not playing it is always difficult and frustrating, but as a professional footballer the only thing is to get your head down and work hard – that’s what I did.”

Holt has yet to fully convince at Rangers, and his performances do need to improve if he is to keep his place in the team on a regular basis.
Rangers fans are not entirely happy with the 24-year-old former Heart of Midlothian midfielder, as reported on HITC Sport (click here to read more).
The Gers are unlikely to challenge for the Sottish Premiership title, but they can certainly finish second in the league table.
The Ibrox outfit will take on Dundee away from home in the Scottish Premiership this evening.
