Rangers midfielder Emerson Hyndman is a wanted man. The 20-year-old, currently on loan from Bournemouth, is reportedly on the radar of Celtic and Nottingham Forest.

According to The Daily Record, Rangers’ Old Firm rivals Celtic want to sign the youngster in the summer transfer window.

Manager Brendan Rodgers is said to have been impressed with the performances of the midfielder.

Nottingham Forest want to secure the services of Hyndman in the summer transfer window, according to The Scottish Sun.

Forest manager Mark Warburton worked with the USA international at Rangers, and the Englishman reportedly wants to bring him to the City Ground.

Hyndman’s performances for Rangers since joining on loan from Premier League club Bournemouth in the January transfer window have been very encouraging.

The youngster, though, does not seem to be thinking too far ahead and is focused on helping the Gers finish second in the Scottish Premiership this season.

“I’m focused on the moment and trying to enjoy myself and help the team get wins,” Hyndman told The Daily Record.

“Why can’t we still get second place?” added Hyndman. “The game up at Aberdeen is a big game anyway.

“They are a big club and we know it’s a difficult place to go. But we want to control the ball from the beginning and have a positive start.”

Rangers are third in the Scottish Premiership table at the moment with 51 points from 30 matches, 10 points behind second-placed Aberdeen.
