The Glasgow Rangers academy graduate has impressed at Ibrox under Gerrard and his coaches in the Scottish Premiership season just gone.

Glasgow Rangers midfielder Ross McCrorie has spoken of how he feels he has improved as a player since the Ibrox arrival of Steven Gerrard and his coaches
The 21-year-old has come through the ranks at Rangers and is highly rated at Ibrox, as well as having received praise from rivals in the past.
Ex Gers boss Pedro Caixinha said of McCrorie after making his debut in 2017 that he “is going to be the future of this country, not only this club, as a centre-half (BBC Sport)”.
Meanwhile, Aberdeen boss Derek McInnes said of the youngster in 2018 after a match: “I thought McCrorie, for someone so young, was the one that dragged Rangers back into the game. I know he gets the goal, but it was more than that. He was the one that was turning the ball over for them and turning the game their way (BBC Sport)”.
Early last year, McCrorie penned a new deal at Rangers along with his brother, goalkeeper Robby McCrorie (Daily Record), and in 2018-19, he made 31 appearances in all competitions, including 11 starts in the Scottish Premiership (Transfermarkt), as the Ibrox club finished second in the table.

On Tuesday, the defensive midfielder took control of the official Rangers Youth Development Company Twitter account and took part in a Q&A session with Bears fans.
