Norwich City have rejected Rangers’ Graham Dorrans bids – and their inability to meet his price-tag may encourage Sheffield Wednesday and Middlesbrough.

Rangers already appear to have completed the most difficult part of the deal. A boyhood Gers fanatic, The Scottish Sun reports that the former Livingston youngster would jump at the chance of being granted a long-awaited move to Ibrox this summer.
Yet, it appears that Rangers and current club Norwich City are still some way off agreeing a deal for the Scotland international midfielder. The publication adds that manager Pedro Caixinha has made a bid just shy of £1 million after having an initial £700,000 offer rejected last week.

However, The Canaries are unwilling to accept anything less than a six figure sum for the 30-year-old with the Daily Mail reporting earlier this month that they have slapped a £1.5 million price tag on his head.
The impending departure of Joe Garner to Ipswich Town could hand Caixinha some vital added funds as he looks to snap up one of his top summer targets. However, with Rangers hardly possessing a bottomless bucket of money, supporters may be fearful that they will be priced out of a move for Dorrans this summer.
Money problems?
He may have started just 22 Championship games last season but a tally of six goals suggests that Dorrans could add some much needed attacking thrust from central midfield – something Rangers badly lacked last season.

However, Rangers have competition. The Eastern Daily Press claimed that ambitious Championship duo Middlesbrough and Sheffield Wednesday are both hot on Dorrans’ tail and they should have no difficulty meeting his valuation.
Therefore, if Rangers don’t agree a fee sooner rather than later, there could be a very real chance that Caixinha’s number one target is denied his boyhood dream.
