Glasgow Rangers star striker Alfredo Morelos, who impressed in Steven Gerrard’s first season, is loved by the Bears at Ibrox.

While on the surface it would seem that Glasgow Rangers could now relax regarding AC Milan’s reported interest in Ibrox goal machine Alfredo Morelos following a breakthrough at their end, they may not be out of the woods just yet.
The big news regarding Milan and their front line is that they have officially sold Patrick Cutrone to Wolverhampton Wanderers for an undisclosed fee reported to be £16million, according to BBC Sport, or as high as £23million, according to Sky Sports.
The Rossoneri are in the process of overhauling their squad and a replacement for Cutrone appears to be all but secured as Rafael Leao is reportedly set for a €30million (£27.5million) switch from Lille this week, according to Calciomercato.
However, one other attacking player is seemingly surplus to requirements at San Siro in the shape of Andre Silva and the latest report on him, from L’Equipe as quoted by Football Italia, suggests they are eager to move him on at a knockdown price, with Monaco potentially back on as a destination.
The Glasgow Evening Times claimed last week that Milan have had scouts at Ibrox monitoring Morelos, who has made 93 Rangers appearances since his 2017 switch from HJK, scoring an impressive 52 goals and registering 19 assists, so a lot would seem to depend on what happens on the Silva front regarding reported interest in the Colombian.
