Steven Gerrard’s Ibrox club Glasgow Rangers will face Neil Lennon’s Celtic today.

Rangers manager Steven Gerrard has spoken highly of Celtic boss Neil Lennon to The Scottish Sun.
Gerrard’s Rangers will take on Celtic away from home at Celtic Park in the Old Firm derby in a few hours’ time.
The Ibrox club will head into the Scottish Premiership game 10 points from leaders and bitter Old Firm rivals Celtic, and a defeat will put flight to their very slim hopes of catching the Hoops.
Ahead of the match, Rangers boss Gerrard has praised Lennon, who was appointed as the Celtic manager in February following the departure of Brendan Rodgers to Leicester City.
Gerrard told The Scottish Sun about Lennon: “When we played against each other it was always fireworks, and I get on well with him. I had a lot of respect for him as a player.
“Lenny is a good man and an emotional coach, and when we have come up against each other there have been no issues on the sidelines.”

Permanent Celtic manager?
Celtic have been very good under Lennon, who was appointed in the role until the end of the season.
Given what Lennon achieved in his first spell as the Celtic boss, it is hard to see the Glasgow giants look beyond him as their permanent manager in the summer.
Celtic have already won the Scottish League Cup, and the fans will expect the team to clinch the Scottish Premiership title and achieve success in the Scottish Cup yet again this season.
