Glasgow Rangers recently appointed Ross Wilson as their new sporting director.
Rangers manager Steven Gerrard
Rangers manager Steven Gerrard has told the club’s official Twitter page that he had two or three conversations with the Ibrox outfit’s new sporting director Ross Wilson.
The Gers recently appointed Wilson as their new sporting director after he left his role as the director of football at Premier League club Southampton.
Liverpool legend Gerrard has stated that he has had two or three conversations with Wilson, but the Rangers manager has made it clear that he is not going to make them public.
The former England international midfielder has also said that 26-year-old full-back Jon Flanagan is available for Rangers’ Scottish Premiership game against Heart of Midlothian away from home on Sunday afternoon.
Intriguing
It is quite intriguing that Gerrard has refused to divulge what he spoke to his new Rangers colleague Wilson about.
Of course, the Rangers manager need not and should not make every conversation public, but it must be quite intriguing for the Ibrox faithful regarding what the two spoke about.
Rangers will return to action on Sunday afternoon when they take on Heart of Midlothian away from home in the Scottish Premiership.
