Liverpool winger Ryan Kent was on loan at Steven Gerrard’s Glasgow Rangers last season.

According to The Scottish Sun, Rangers want to sign Kent on loan from Liverpool in the summer transfer window.
The 22-year-old winger spent the 2018-19 campaign on loan at the Gers from the The Reds.
The Scottish Sun has claimed that Liverpool are looking sell the former England Under-20 international and are looking at £7 million as transfer fee.
Rangers manager Gerrard has said that the Premier League club’s stance on Kent has not changed, but the Liverpool legend has not completely given up on securing the services of the youngster.
Gerrard told The Daily Record about Kent: “I don’t really want to speak about it because nothing is happening on it. There’s been no change or developments since the last time we asked Liverpool and were told there wouldn’t be a loan situation.
“Nothing has changed on it. But you never give up on trying to improve your team and squad. You never give up on following and tracking top players.
“I made it pretty clear over the course of 12 months working with Ryan how highly I rate him, so I’d never shut the door on any player and certainly top players but I have to understand, respect and appreciate the situation of his parent club, who were obviously very helpful in giving him to us in the first place.”

No need for Ryan Kent at Rangers?
Kent played well for Rangers and is very popular among the Ibrox faithful, but one must ask if the Gers really need the winger.
The Scottish Premiership giants already have wingers Jake Hastie, Jamie Murphy, Sheyi Ojo and Jordan Jones, and they may not need another player for the same positon.
