Glasgow Rangers’ search for their new manager continues, and it appears that it is looking slightly less likely that Derek McInnes will take over at Ibrox.

A general view of Ibrox Stadium is seen ahead of the EURO 2016 Qualifier match between Scotland and Georgia at Ibrox Stadium on October 11, 2014 in Glasgow, Scotland.

It has been a number of weeks since Rangers parted company with Pedro Caixinha, but a look at the betting market on Sky Bet just hints that the Gers may not be any closer to finding their next manager.

Derek McInnes has led the market virtually since the moment the Portuguese was dismissed last month and the Aberdeen boss has spent practically all of that time as the odds-on favourite.

However, while McInnes remains the favourite, he has now drifted out slightly, with Sky Bet listing the former Gers midfielder at evens, while current caretaker Graeme Murty remains the second favourite at 3/1.

It would be no surprise however, if Murty drifted out slightly after Hamilton ended his winning start to his second spell as caretaker as they left Ibrox with a 2-0 win on Saturday.

Frank de Boer, Manager of Crytal Palace looks on prior to the Premier League match between Crystal Palace and Huddersfield Town at Selhurst Park on August 12, 2017 in London, England.

So could Murty potentially drifting out see a new second favourite emerge? Sky Bet now lists Frank De Boer as the 6/1 third favourite for the post just a handful of months after his incredibly brief tenure at Crystal Palace came to an end.

Meanwhile, Alex McLeish returns to sit amongst the front-runners in the market, with Sky Bet listing the former Gers boss at 7/1, just ahead of Michael O’Neill at 8/1.

The chances of Giovanni van Bronckhorst getting the job appear to be fading however, as the Feyenoord boss is now fifth favourite at 11/1 – still well clear of the next batch of contenders.
