Rangers manager Mark Warburton has admitted to The Scottish Sun that he should have deployed Andy Halliday from the start against Celtic.
The Gers took on Old Firm rivals Celtic away from home at Celtic Park in the Scottish Premiership last month.
Halliday, who is 24 years of age and has been on the books of Rangers since the summer of 2015, did not start the match.
The former Livingston and Middlesbrough midfielder came on as a substitute at the half-time interval, as Rangers were hammered 5-1 in Glasgow.

Rangers manager Warburton has admitted that he should have included Halliday in his starting lineup against Celtic.
“When you have bigger numbers they say ‘why don’t you pick him?’” Warburton told The Scottish Sun.
“That’s the nature of the beast. For Andy we made what we thought was the right decision. In hindsight it wasn’t the right decision.
“Now hindsight is a marvellous thing to have — but there’s no doubt when Andy Halliday pulls a shirt on there’s no more passionate player for the club.”
