Graeme Murty’s Glasgow Rangers reportedly want to bring Kilmarnock’s Jordan Jones to Ibrox.

Kilmarnock striker Kris Boyd recently slammed his former club Rangers. The former Ibrox star was unimpressed with the Gers’ pursuit of his teammate Jordan Jones.
As reported by The Daily Record, Rangers’ initial offer of £350,000 for Jones was turned down by Kilmarnock, who are claimed to value the 23-year-old Northern Ireland international at three times as much.
Boyd, who is in is third spell at Kilmarnock at the moment and had two separate spells at Rangers, criticised the Gers, claiming that they were trying to unsettle Jones by making a small offer, as quoted by The Daily Record.
Rangers manager Graeme Murty has now responded to those comments from Boyd, stating that the Ibrox club have handled the situation the way it is supposed to.

Murty told STV: “Kris is entitled to his own opinion but as far as I am concerned we have handled it in an above board manner.
“We have gone to the club, we’ve made an offer and they are perfectly within their rights to say no, that’s fine, we move forward.
“Either we negotiate or we walk away, that’s our prerogative. As far as I’m concerned everything we have done has been above board and proper.”

Rangers are third in the Scottish Premiership table at the moment with 40 points from 22 matches, three points behind second-placed Aberdeen and 11 points behind leaders and Old Firm rivals Celtic.
As for Kilmarnock, they are currently sixth in the standings with 26 points from 21 games.
