Rangers manager Steven has admitted he expects a better performance from his players tomorrow when they face Malmo than the weekend defeat to Dundee United as he looks forward to welcoming a full house to Ibrox.
The Light Blues trail by a single goal and will be backed by 50000 Gers fans for the Champions League qualifier and confessed it is up to his players to match the “noise and passion” of the Rangers support.

While the Gers have started the season poorly, Gerrard knows only one game can turn things around and insists that it is still early days in the season, and taking the responsibility for the poor performances himself.
“We haven’t played at a full crowd at Ibrox in a long time, we are really looking forward to a full house,” Gerrard said.
“I am in no doubt they will turn up full of noise and passion and is up to us to match that.
“We are two games into the league, still very early days. We won’t use any excuses, our last two performances were not at our level but that is on me and we will take any criticism.
“We only need one performance to light the fire again. I expect a good performance tomorrow.”
A third consecutive defeat would be a massive blow for Rangers and really see the pressure increase on Gerrard.
While the Gers have been fantastic over the last 12 months, last season’s title success is now history and can’t be used to gloss over poor performances.
However, a win tomorrow night would be a huge momentum boost for Gerrard and his players and could well prove the spark that’s needed to ignite their season.
