Rangers have given their fans quite the exciting day, having landed not one but two striker additions for Steven Gerrard’s side.
The Gers know that Alfredo Morelos is a wanted man, and they have prepared for his potential exit by signing two strikers.
This evening, Rangers have confirmed the addition of St Gallen striker Cedric Itten, just hours after bringing in Kemar Roofe.
Rangers have snapped up Roofe from Anderlecht on a four-year deal, marking a major coup for the Gers as they look to chase down Celtic.
Roofe, 27, hit seven goals and three assists in 16 games for Anderlecht this past season, though his campaign was hit by ankle and calf injuries.
Roofe also smashed 15 goals and two assists in 34 games for Leeds in the 2018-2019 season, and his movement will make him a huge threat for Rangers.

Now, Roofe’s former Leeds teammate Stuart Dallas has taken to Twitter to react to the move, given that he is a big Rangers fan himself.
Dallas believes that Roofe is a ‘great signing’ for Rangers, admitting that he is ‘buzzing’ for the striker whilst telling him to show Gers fans what he’s all about.
