Rangers moved another step closer to the Scottish Premiership title on Sunday as they won whilst Celtic lost to Ross County.

The Gers beat Dundee United 4-1 at Ibrox in a comfortable victory, with Ianis Hagi, Ryan Kent, Joe Aribo and Alfredo Morelos all on the scoresheet.

Later on Sunday, Celtic travelled to take on Ross County, and their season took another disastrous turn as they fell to a 1-0 defeat.

Jordan White bagged the winner for County as John Hughes picked up a huge three points against his former club.

That win could be vital for Ross County as they attempt to avoid relegation, and the night was particularly massive for White.

The 29-year-old striker has been a nomad, turning out for the likes of Livingston, Wrexham, Barrow, Inverness and Motherwell in recent times.

Back in his formative years, the Bellshill native started his career with Rangers, having grown up supporting the club and emerging from a Rangers-mad family.

Now, White has told The Scottish Sun that there are many happy people in his family after he bagged the winner against Celtic, piling the misery on the Bhoys whilst pushing Rangers closer to the title and helping Ross County’s fortunes; a pretty ideal night for him.

“I’ve got a lot of happy people in my family! I grew up that way and it is what it is, “ said White. Listen, I’m here at Ross County and I’ve got a job to do here. That’s my main focus. I’ll try to keep my feet on the ground and concentrate on us,” he added.
