Rangers reportedly want to bring John Souttar to Ibrox.

Rangers will already have one eye on the summer transfer window, with Steven Gerrard needing more quality recruits in order to get closer to Celtic next season.
The Gers have shown some progress under Gerrard this season, but it’s clear that another step needs to be taken next season, after Gerrard has been through a third transfer window in the job.
One area that must be strengthened by director of football Mark Allen is centre back. Connor Goldson and Nikola Katic are in place, but Joe Worrall is set to return to Nottingham Forest, whilst Gareth McAuley is out of contract.
Another central defender – or even two – will be needed, and the Daily Record now report that Allen has his sights set on Hearts defender John Souttar ahead of the transfer window.
It’s believed the 22-year-old is a top target for Rangers, and whilst centre back additions often aren’t the most exciting, this could be one of Allen’s best moves yet.
Souttar, formerly or Dundee United, has starred for Hearts since his 2016 arrival, and has also picked up three Scotland caps, with many tipping him for a bright future.

Capable of bringing the ball out of defence whilst also being strong, quick and good in the air, Souttar can become the total package in the Rangers defence for years to come.
Signing Scotland’s most promising players has to be a target for Rangers, and Souttar has bags of potential whilst already being proven in the Scottish Premiership, ticking two boxes for the Gers.
Finding defensive solidity has been tough for Rangers in recent years, with a whole host of defenders coming and going, but with Souttar, Rangers could build their defence around him in what could be a perfect move.
