Rangers are reportedly keen on Watford’s Andre Gray.

The Glasgow Evening Times reported earlier this month Rangers are hoping to sign Andre Gray on loan next season.
Gray is currently at Watford, who paid £18 million to sign him in 2017 from Burnley.
It was and remains an ambitious plan for the Gers, but it’s one which received a helping hand at the weekend.
Rangers’ chances were aided by Watford falling short in the FA Cup final, with the team thrashed 6-0 by Manchester City.
Watford needed to win the final to qualify for the Europa League.
Rangers on the other hand, already have a Europa League place, at least in the qualifiers.

Rangers made it through the qualifiers last season and into the group stages and Steven Gerrard’s side will fancy their chances of doing the same next season.
This is something in Rangers’ favour if they pursue a loan deal for Gray.
A decision would rest with Watford and their own plans, but if comes down to Gray’s choice, Europa League football can be a factor, and the pendulum has swayed in Rangers’ favour.
